Holy Wow !

So living on an Island has it's perks one of them being that we don't get really busy at work until after memorial day. Unfortunately or fortunately this year just isn't the case. Man oh man am I wiped out from this week. I forgot how hard it is to get back into the swing of things for summer !

Well my work had this awesome idea to do breakfast with the Easter bunny and since I've been working so much this week and missed all the other Easter festivities on the beach I thought I would be a good mama and take the boys to see him .... WOWSIE was I wrong ! Noah was so scared he hid under the table any time the Easter Bunny was even in the room and Ryden would scream bloody murder every time the Bunny moved! I guess the trip to Disneyland and being scared of Mickey should have a been a clue. I think it's going to be a LONG time before I try that again !

Ok so our plans for tonight boil eggs, dye eggs, go to K Mart and Help the Easter bunny out a little bit because even though they are scared of the GIANT RABBIT they still do love all the little treatsies that come along when the Easter bunny comes.  This should be a lot of fun and then well back to work on Monday.

Looking back on Noah ...

          So I was just reading Tylers blog and it got me to thinking about how big the kids get so quick... and how great it was back in the day before Noah could actually talk back to me. I think my house was relativly quiet back then I mean compared to now of course.

They say it takes a special kind of mom to be able to raise little boys and even though I don't know exactly how true it is, I do feel part of my sanity slip away from me every single day... Mike trys to be nice and tell me that I'm just exahusted but I seriously think that I am slowly going crazy.

Wow ok so this is Noah at 9 1/2 months taking his first steps ! Geez I can't believe I didn't put clothes on him before I took this picture that will probably be shown to every girlfriend that ever comes over... Oh well maybe the diaper and socks will come back in fashion by then...

 We have a little sound access behind our house that we like to walk down to with the kids because the water is really shallow only about 6 inches for like 20 feet so they can splash around and cool off... Noah has never ever been a water baby, even now it takes a lot of coaxing just to get him in the pool , and the ocean well FORGET it ! It's amazing how different him and his brother are.

What one year old doesn't like their first birthday cake .... MINE ... lol .. Noah didn't want anything to do with his cake, in fact that little piece of frosting that is on his lip I did just so we could take a picture with cake on his face.....I am happy to report that he is a normal kid now and does eat cake !

He has always loved when his Unka Cory comes into town.... That is if Unka Cory would get up before 2 oclock in the afternoon to play with him !

This is the last picture I'm going to put up today and I know it doesn't look like it's a picture of Noah but this was the trip that I had gone down to Marathon florida to meet up with my dad and to tell him that I was going to have a baby. I was about 10 weeks pregnant and well he guessed right away. I didn't even get a chance to tell him ! Oh well It was a great trip ... did I mention it was the first time Mike met my dad ! haha in hindsight I bet he was probably pretty nervous.

Ya know I complain that Noah can talk back to me now but the best feeling in the world is when I get home from work and Noah runs up to me with a big hug and says " Mommy, I'm so glad your home... I missed you !" So I guess you have to take the good with the bad and just keep going ....





I must have been inspired....

So normally I just write about our comings and goings on facebook but seriously facebook can be a little much for someone who just wants to vent without people commenting on their side of the story ... I mean seriously I love people but when I post on my facebook that "coffee is my only friend" and I have friends that are mad about it because I didn't mention them as a friend.... well all I can do is sit back and scratch my head and be like ... really ?? So anyways my little brother and his wife started one of these bloggy thingys and it seems like it could actually be fun so here we go -

Ok so like most of you know I just got married last month, yuuup wedding day is over.... I can't stress how much I STRESSED about that wedding for the past .... ummm well to be perfectly honest since I was like 4 .... and If I have one word of advice for anyone it's not to stress Weddings are sooo much fun especially when it’s your wedding. The wedding turned out awesome, well AMAZING and it was so unique I don't think people knew what to expect next. My personal favorite was shoving cake in my maid of honors face instead of my husbands ... I mean .... ya ..... AWESOME ....


Ok Ok ... wedding ... check ... honeymoon in Vegas ... CHECK ... Drive back from California to North Carolina with two kids .... I do not recommend this to anyone with a heart condition and by heart condition I mean that your heart is still pumping blood through your body .... Seriously ... and I'm being serious don't do it, this trip back home might have taken a week off my life ... (which considering the time in Vegas probably took a year isn't so bad)

So now were home, and we've been home for a week now and I'm still so exhausted I mean we are definitely not functioning on all cylinders yet, and Noah and Ryden think that it would be a good idea to go through their dresser and pull out every single piece of clothing that they had in there and throw it all over there room. I mean it looked like they were just standing in the middle of the room and throwing clothes in the air the way that kids would be throwing leaves up in the fall, Wow I was mad ... I mean walk out of the room and get Dad mad ....... the last thing that I wanted to do was refold and put away clothes after unpacking 5 weeks worth of laundry that day ..... But I mean .... u can't be too mad because seriously can you imagine how much fun that must have been .... Sometimes I wish I could do stuff like that and not be liable for my actions ... oh to be young again. HA and after the whole thing he decided it was a good time to ask me if we could go to the "bouncy castle"  ..... "seriously noah" ..... "seriously"

I think that's it for now I mean I'm wiped and this blogging stuff it hard work .... pushing all the buttons and stuff ... ok well not really but until next time ladies and gentlemen
